How to perform the test
The test is performed by moistening a test strip with urine, then the result can be read using the color-coded lines.
1. Pee in the cup provided – it must be clean and dry.
2. Remove the test strip from the foil packet.
3. With the arrows pointing downwards, dip the test strip vertically into the urine for 10 seconds. Do not dip the strip deeper than the MAX line on the test. See the illustration in the enclosed instructions for use.
4. Remove the test strip from the urine and place it on a horizontal, non-absorbent surface, such as the edge of the cup.
5. As the test begins to work, you will see a faint colored stream move across the test region where the test and control lines appear. Read the result after 3 minutes. Some positive results may appear as early as 45 seconds, depending on the concentration of hCG. Do not read the result after 5 minutes.
Reusable collection cup included
A silicone cup is included for collecting urine samples. The cup is made of heat-resistant material that can withstand cleaning at high temperatures.
